Although this route does not include the iconic \u2018Monster Climb\u2019, riders will have a \u2018Mini Monster Climb\u2019 to contend with. The ascent is shorter but steeper than the \u2018Monster Climb\u2019 of the Marathon. Most riders won\u2019t be able to ride the entire section as it gets too steep. The racing snakes that are able to ride it will be able to open up a healthy lead. Although it\u2019s not \u2018The Monster\u2019, the Half Marathon will be tough, yet fun and is perfect for younger competitors that are wanting to race in a highly competitive environment.
