{"id":43503,"date":"2022-04-15T14:30:06","date_gmt":"2022-04-15T12:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/sport\/football\/tka-provided-equipment-for-athletes-with-hearing-and-speech-impairment-in-libya\/"},"modified":"2022-04-15T14:30:06","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T12:30:06","slug":"tka-provided-equipment-for-athletes-with-hearing-and-speech-impairment-in-libya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/sport\/football\/tka-provided-equipment-for-athletes-with-hearing-and-speech-impairment-in-libya\/","title":{"rendered":"T?KA provided equipment for athletes with hearing and speech impairment in Libya"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"press-body-in\">\n                            <span><br \/>\n                                                            ANKARA, Turkey, April 15, 2022\/APO Group\/ &#8212;<br \/>\n                                                        <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (T\u0130KA) provided summer and winter sports equipment and training materials for athletes with hearing and speech impairment in Tripoli, the capital of Libya.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>At the delivery ceremony held at the Training Center for People with Hearing and Speech Impairment, Kenan Y\u0131lmaz, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Ambassador to Tripoli, said, \u201cSpending time with these young people boosted our energy as well.\u201d Y\u0131lmaz noted that such gestures, which will contribute to the reintegration of children into the society and help them become successful international athletes in their own branches in the future, are of special importance due to the deep-rooted ties of solidarity between T\u00fcrkiye and Libya dating back to 500 years. Y\u0131lmaz said, \u201cWe met with children on the occasion of Ramadan. I would like to thank T\u0130KA for such assistance activities and its contribution to the relations between the two countries. I wish Libyan athletes success in their future endeavors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>G\u0131yaseddin Karatepe, T\u0130KA\u2019s Coordinator in Libya, stated that they implemented a project for the donation of sports equipment and training materials for young and child athletes and football players in order to support the sports activities of Libyan young people with hearing and speech impairment. Karatepe noted that they carried out this activity in cooperation with the OIA Club for Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and said, \u201cWe delivered summer and winter sports equipment, football balls, and athletic training materials to 75 young athletes. The club, which has successful athletes, came in fifth in African football tournaments. Our support will continue increasingly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of the \u201cProject for the Donation of Clothing and Training Materials for the Athletes of the OIA Club for Deaf and Hard of Hearing,\u201d 650 different materials were distributed to the athletes.
