There can be only ONE WINNER!<\/p>\n<p>The winning school will take home bragging rights for one year!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited and proud to reveal the names of the schools that have qualified for the 2022 Twizza Super School Series National Final,\u201d says Lance Coertzen, Twizza Group Marketing Manager. \u201cBoth Regional Qualifiers exceeded our expectations, and we can\u2019t wait for the action to recommence in February 2022. We would like to thank each and every school, student and teacher for their support.\u00a0Your participation contributed towards the many special moments that were made in 2021. Best of luck to all the schools that will proceed to the National Final. Use this time well to fine tune your skill. We cannot wait to once again #TasteTheMoment at the 2022 Twizza Super School Series National Final.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><u>Menlopark High School<\/u>, <u>Paarl Boys High School<\/u> and <u>La Rochelle Girls\u2019 High School (Paarl)<\/u> are amongst the schools that have qualified to participate at the National Final in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to the ranking list, <u>Menlopark High School<\/u> was a force to be reckoned with both in the Boys and Girls team competition at the <u>Regional Qualifier #1<\/u> that was held at Ruimsig Athletics Stadium (Roodepoort) in September.<\/p>\n<p>According to JJ Smith, High School Menlopark Director of Athletics, despite stringent Covid regulations, the Twizza Super School Series Regional Qualifier #1 delivered top performances which showed that athletes were eager to perform under any circumstances. \u201cWe are very excited to compete at the highest level of schools\u2019 athletics,\u201d says Smith. \u201cBeing back in a competitive environment at the Twizza Super School Series was very challenging, but I believe we adapted well to the environment and performed nicely. As the Twizza Super School Series is the highest team competition in schools\u2019 athletics, it is a very high priority for our school. Our goal will be to perform better than our last performance, challenging our talents and hard work while enjoying the opportunity as much as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <u>Regional Qualifier #2<\/u> that was held at the Greenpoint Athletics Stadium (Cape Town) in October saw <u>Paarl Boys High School<\/u> claim top hours in the Boys Team Competition, while <u>La Rochelle Girls High School<\/u> (Paarl) dominated in the Girls Team Competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Twizza Super School Series Regional Qualifier #2 was well organised and we really enjoyed it,\u201d says Girt Geldenhuys, Paarl Boys High MIC Athletics.\u00a0 \u201cWe like to take part in events and winning is a great bonus. We snuck in the back door at the Regional Qualifier #2 with the last event on the day. We will have to up our game to compete with the schools up North. The Twizza Super School Series has had a positive impact on our school and learners. There is now an excitement amongst all athletes and pupils. In 2019 we came 7<sup>th<\/sup> overall at the National Final. We will try to beat it. There is still a lot of work to be done, but we are up for the challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Marianna Schoeman, La Rochelle Girls\u2019 High School Athletics Co-ordinator and Team Manageress, the Twizza Super School Series Regional Qualifier #2 was very well organised and competitive. \u201cThe competition on the day was very strong with different schools leading on the points table throughout the day. We are satisfied and very proud of our achievement. We will, however, need to work even harder to compete up North. It is very important to be able to compete against other Top Athletic Schools.
