The Stellenbosch based Fairtree Cannondale Racing Team are looking to close off a very rewarding season at Stellenbosch\u2019s most iconic MTB celebration, the 8th annual Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November 2021.<\/p>\n

An individual 2-day MTB Stage Race, the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience routes highlight the beauty and splendor of Stellenbosch. Mountain bikers can look forward to experiencing a vast network of world-class and exclusive trails while celebrating the origin of SA mountain biking.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe live for riding bikes, so this event is right up our ally,\u201d says Chris Norton, Manager of the Fairtree Cannondale Racing Team. \u201cThis will be the fourth year that I take part in the event, and I love that it encourages riders to enjoy the experience rather than race. The routes are in our backyard, Jonkershoek and Banhoek, where we love to ride. The vibe is always fun, it\u2019s the last race of the year and we love taking part as a group. We are looking forward to riding together and having fun on route. The Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience is one of our favorite events. The team is very close, and this just means that we get to spend more time together doing what we love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fairtree Cannondale Racing Team members Luyanda Thobigunya and Lorenzo Le Roux can\u2019t wait to toe the line at the 2021 Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis will be the fourth time that I take part in the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience,\u201d says Thobigunya. \u201cI love the vibe, the fun and of course the singletrack. My goal is to win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Le Roux has also set his sights on winning. \u201cThis will also be the fourth time that I take part in the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience,\u201d says Le Roux. \u201cI am really looking forward to the climbing and all the great descents.\u201d<\/p>\n
