The organizers of the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience are inviting 2021 entrants to join them for a fun Training Ride at the picturesque Blaauwklippen Wine Estate (Stellenbosch) on Saturday 16 October 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to give the mountain biking community a taste of what to expect at the 2021 Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the event. \u201cThe Training Ride will take place at an iconic Stellenbosch venue, the Blaauwklippen Wine Estate and is open to all 2021 entrants (that have paid) at no additional cost. The ride will boast a 25km \u2013 30km route and will include a great mix of technical trails, open jeep tracks and smooth singletracks. Riders will receive a complimentary coffee upon arrival and a refreshing Savanna after the ride! Riders will also be treated to a tour of the new Specialized Head Office which is based at Blaauwklippen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLook forward to experiencing a fun day out enjoying Stellenbosch\u2019s sublime trails with likeminded individuals,\u201d continues Meyer. \u201cWe are unfortunately only able to accommodate 60 riders, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible. Remember to prepare as if you were preparing for a race. Pack your nutrition, water bottles and spares. If you\u2019ve already received your 2021 rider jersey, be sure to wear it. We can\u2019t wait to enjoy Stellenbosch\u2019s pristine trails with event entrants in the build up to the 2021 Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience is an individual 2-day MTB Stage Race. The routes highlight the beauty and splendor of Stellenbosch, and mountain bikers can look forward to experiencing a vast network of world-class trails while celebrating the origin of SA mountain biking.<\/p>\n
