The RUN YOUR CITY (RYC) Series\u2019 latest Strava Challenge is encouraging runners to put their love for running to good use by \u201cRUNNING FOR A CAUSE\u201d on Saturday 14 August 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cCharity support has been an important focus of the RYC Series since the inception of the first event, the CAPE TOWN 12K CITYRUN in 2015,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and founder of the RYC Series.\u00a0 \u201cBeing in the midst of a pandemic, charities are feeling the clinch more than ever.\u00a0 We are excited to encourage the RYC Series Community to show their support by taking on the RYC Series \u2018RUN FOR A CAUSE\u2019 Challenge on Strava.\u00a0 Taking place on Saturday 14 August 2021 between 05:00 \u2013 22:00, runners can choose their own distance, location and route.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe RYC Series has partnered with GivenGain,\u201d continues Meyer.\u00a0 \u201cOnce runners have joined the \u2018RUN FOR A CAUSE\u2019 Challenge on Strava, they can either commit to dedicating their run to one of the RYC Series Charities or they can go one step further by starting their own fundraising page and support a cause that lies close to their hearts. \u00a0\u00a0Runners are reminded to capture and share their activities, routes, photos and dedicated cause to the RYC Series Club Page on Strava.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to include #RunYourCity #RunForACause #RunPuma.\u00a0 An awesome pair of PUMA Deviate NITRO Spectra running shoes to the value of R4000 is up for grabs.\u00a0 Get ready to go the extra mile by making your run count!\u201d<\/p>\n
