The Overberg Region will once again host South Africa\u2019s premier 3-Day Stage Trail Run, the THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN<\/strong> that will take place at the Houw Hoek Hotel from Saturday 19 \u2013 Monday 21 March 2022, but before then the region will also welcome the debut of the THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN 1-Day<\/strong> XPERIENCE <\/strong>that is guaranteed to take the picturesque Paul Cluver Wines by storm on Saturday 18 September 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur flagship event, the THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN 3-Day Stage Race<\/strong> will celebrate its 12th<\/sup> anniversary in March 2022.\u00a0 With the exception of one year, the Overberg Region has always been the host region and is affectionately known as the home of South Africa\u2019s premier 3-Day Stage Trail Run,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the event.\u00a0 \u201cWith March still being a long way away, we\u2019re excited to introduce yet another THIRSTI AFRICANX event to the region, this time a one-day event, the THIRSTI AFRICANX TRAILRUN 1-Day<\/strong> XPERIENCE <\/strong>will take place at Paul Cluver Wines in September this year.\u00a0 Situated less than an hour\u2019s drive from the Cape Town International Airport, not only is Paul Cluver Wines easily accessible and perfect for Capetonians that would like to enjoy a day out on the trails, it\u2019s also convenient for trail runners that will be travelling from outside of Cape Town.\u201d<\/p>\n
