In support of the Plastic Free July\u00ae global movement, the Run Your City (RYC) Series is challenging runners to complete a Plastic Free 5K on Saturday, 03 July 2021.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe encourage the RYC Community to \u2018say no\u2019 to single-use plastic by stepping up and committing to making a few small, easily attainable changes,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and founder of the RYC Series. \u201cCelebrate your pledge and shared love for the environment with thousands of runners by taking part in the Plastic Free 5K. Runners choose their own safe location and route, and have from 05:00 \u2013 21:00 on Saturday, 03 July 2021 to complete their run. The run needs to be recorded using a smartphone (Android or iPhone device) or smart watch (Garmin, TomTom, SUUNTO, Fitbit, Polar etc).\u201d<\/p>\n
