\u201cThe Savanna Origin of Trails Training Run #2 is the perfect way for trail runners to familiarize themselves with the routes that will form part of the 3rd annual Savanna Origin of Trails Trail Run Experience that will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June 2021,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the events. \u201cTaking place at the beautiful Blaauwklippen Wine Estate, the Training Run #2 is free of charge and open to the first 100 runners that sign up. The run will consist of a 14 \u2013 16km marked route and runners will be split into groups with dedicated group leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cStarting at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate runners will head towards Eden, G Spot and Coetzenburg,\u201d continues Meyer. \u201cThere will be a good mix of climbing, descents, technical trails and smooth single track. This training run will give runners a good idea of what to expect on race weekend. The Blaauwklippen market will be in full swing for runners to enjoy afterwards.
