Stillwater Sports is proud to announce THIRSTI as the Title Sponsor of South Africa\u2019s premier three-day stage trail run, the THIRSTI AFRICANX Trailrun.<\/p>\n

Taking place at the Houw Hoek Hotel, in the Western Cape, over the weekend of 26 \u2013 28 March 2021, trail runners can look forward to a fresh new look and an extraordinary experience.<\/p>\n

Having already partnered with the likes of The Sharks, Comrades Marathon as well as the ABSA Cape Epic, Rob Hoatson, Managing Director of THIRSTI Water is delighted to add another powerhouse partnership to the THIRSTI stable;<\/p>\n

\u201cAFRICANX is a fantastic challenge!\u00a0 Running in excess of 70km over three days will require plenty of hydration and rehydration for these extreme individuals. We\u2019ll keep the athlete\u2019s well fuelled with the best water that nature has to offer – sourced deep from within the Klein Drakensberg mountains, with a unique taste, ultimate hydration and pH of 8.\u201d\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Teams of two trail running enthusiasts (male\/female\/mixed) will be seen battling it out on a route varying in distances each day.\u00a0 Each stage will feature a different route that is guaranteed to keep things exciting while leaving runners in awe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

  1. R3400 <\/strong>per person \u2013 this includes breakfast and lunch, but excludes dinner and accommodation.<\/li>\n
  2. R3900 <\/strong>per person \u2013 this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, but excludes accommodation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Iconic to the THIRSTI AFRICANX Trailrun, ALL entrants will receive an event hoodie<\/strong> and an exclusive finisher\u2019s<\/strong> t-shirt, <\/strong>amongst other exciting sponsor gifts!<\/p>\n

    CHARITY SUPPORT<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 <\/strong>The THIRSTI AFRICANX Trailrun proudly supports The <\/strong>Timothy James Harlow Foundation (TJHF)<\/strong>, a non-profit organisation that searches for opportunities to make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities.\u00a0 Runners can support the TJHF by making a donation when entering the event online.\u00a0 This year entrants have the opportunity to get more involved by suggesting a candidate and\/or cause that they\u2019d like the TJHF to support.\u00a0 Suggestions can be sent to entries@stillwatersports.com<\/a><\/p>\n
