Celebrating its 3rd<\/sup> anniversary on Sunday 13 October 2019, the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN <\/strong>will boast a whopping prize purse of R250\u00a0000.<\/p>\n

The FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN is the last of three mass participation road running events that make up the FNB Run Your City Series.\u00a0 The 2019 series kicked off in Cape Town in May with the 5th <\/sup>annual FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN. Joburg will host the 4th<\/sup> annual FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN on Sunday, 24 September 2019 (National Heritage Day), after which Durban will have its turn to shine.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been no lack in excitement in the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN elite race with the event delivering nail-biting performances in 2017 and 2018,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re excited to continue the action in 2019 and will be offering a R250\u00a0000 prize purse, both as motivation and as a reward, to local and international contenders.\u00a0 Prize money has been allocated to the top 10 finishers in the Open Category with the \u00a0Open Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s winners taking home an impressive total of R30\u00a0000, the runners-up getting R17\u00a0000 and the final spot on the podium securing R13\u00a0000.\u201d<\/p>\n
