For the seventh consecutive year well-known SA radio personality and business woman, Phindi Gule-Burley will celebrate Women\u2019s Day (Friday 09 August 2019) by motivating runners and walkers at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race in Durban. \u201cThe Totalsports Women\u2019s Race was the very first 10km race that I ran back in 2011,\u201d admits Gule-Burley.\u00a0 \u201cSo this race will always be close to my heart.\u00a0 It made me fall in love with running and I have grown so much over the years as an athlete and broadcaster.\u00a0 I love that the event supports PinkDrive as this highlights the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.\u00a0 In all the running around and taking care of everyone, we (women) often forget to take care of ourselves – something that is vital.\u00a0 PinkDrive emphasizes the importance of breast cancer awareness and even conducts tests after the race.\u00a0 I am delighted that the organization gets to be the\u00a0beneficiary.\u201d \u201cI cannot wait to salute every woman for being on the start line on 09 August,\u201d continues Gule-Burley. \u201cMy goal is to encourage and motivate every single entrant.\u00a0 I really enjoy uncovering those heart-warming stories.\u00a0 I also look forward to building the suspense as we wait to see which elite runner will cross the finish line first.\u00a0 My advice to women is to finish what you started.\u00a0 You made it this far, keep moving forward (in every sphere of your life).\u00a0 Don\u2019t quit \u2013 simply run your own race!\u201d Event Information<\/u>:\u00a0 <\/strong>2019 Totalsports Women\u2019s Race \u00a0<\/strong> An annual Women\u2019s Day celebration, the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race encourages athletes to run united in support of PinkDrive because they are #StrongerTogether.\u00a0 For the first time since the event\u2019s inception in 2001, South Africa\u2019s largest Women\u2019s Day Celebration will be hosted on one day across three major cities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
