Taking place at the Boschendal Farm Estate (The Retreat) on Saturday, 07 September 2019 and Sunday, 08 September 2019, the 5th<\/sup> annual Fedhealth MTB Challenge <\/strong>proudly supports the Stellenbosch Trail Fund (STF).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A registered non-profit organisation (NPO), STF is entirely funded by donations from local trail users and corporate sponsors. Since 2011 STF\u2019s aim has been to create, improve and maintain – hiking, biking and running trails in and around the greater Stellenbosch.<\/p>\n

\u201cSTF does a spectacular job building, improving and maintaining Stellenbosch\u2019s much loved trails,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cAs a Stellenbosch based sports marketing agency, we love Stellenbosch and are spoiled for choice when it comes to mountain-biking and trail running.\u00a0 We are thankful to STF for going the extra mile ensuring that Stellenbosch\u2019s off-road community get to enjoy world class trails on their doorstep.\u00a0 We are proud to show our support by listing STF as a charity of the Fedhealth MTB Challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are blessed to live and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the world,\u201d says Richard de Villiers, STF Founding Director.\u00a0 \u201cWe want to be responsible stewards (keepers) of the natural resources entrusted to all of us. Effective stewardship is impossible without the support of the community.\u00a0 All our trails are permit-free to enable everybody to enjoy our trails. We rely entirely on donations and support of the private and corporate community of Stellenbosch to build and maintain our trails. We value inclusivity in all its aspects and strive to work in partnership with all stakeholders and other local NPOs.\u201d<\/p>\n
