2019 (National Heritage Day) runners taking part in the 4<sup>th<\/sup> annual FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN will be seen vying for their share in an impressive R250\u00a0000 prize purse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN is a \u2018proudly South African, proudly Joburg\u2019 must do mass participation road race,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cWe are excited to celebrate the event\u2019s 4<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary in 2019 and are equally excited to be able to award local and international athletes for their support and hard work, by offering a deserving prize purse of R250\u00a0000.\u00a0 This prize purse includes a whopping total of R30\u00a0000 that will go to both the open men\u2019s and women\u2019s winners on the day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrize money has been allocated to the top 10 finishers in the Open Category, with the runner- up in the Open Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s races taking home R17\u00a0000 each and the final spot on the podium securing R13\u00a0000,\u201d continues Meyer.\u00a0 \u201cJuniors, Veterans, Masters, Grand Master as well as the 70+ age groupers will earn prize money from 1<sup>st<\/sup> to 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place.\u00a0 We are thankful for the support received from our valued sponsors.\u00a0 Without them this prize purse would not be possible.\u00a0 We look forward to performances by a host of Joburg\u2019s leading performing arts groups.\u00a0 Iconic landmarks to look out for will include:\u00a0 the Nelson Mandela Bridge, FNB Bank City, Constitution Hill, Mary
