The Totalsports Women\u2019s Race Cape Town will close off on a high note on Friday, 09 August 2019 (National Women\u2019s Day) with a live performance by singer-songwriter Paxton. The youngest South African to win Idols South Africa (Season 13), Paxton Fielies started singing in the church choir at the age of 7. \u201cI\u2019ve been singing ever since,\u201d admits Paxton.\u00a0 \u201cI love being able to entertain people and tell stories through my music.\u00a0 Music is a common language that everyone (locally and globally) can relate to.\u00a0 This is awesome.\u00a0 I am excited to perform at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race in Cape Town.\u00a0 It\u2019s a wonderful event that aims to uplift women in South Africa.\u00a0 I believe that women need to support each other more.\u00a0 We definitely need more events that encourage women to uplift each other.\u00a0 Runners (and supporters) can look forward to hearing some new singles, but I will definitely include favourites that they will recognise and enjoy.\u201d Event Information<\/u>:\u00a0 <\/strong>2019 Totalsports Women\u2019s Race \u00a0<\/strong> An annual Women\u2019s Day celebration, the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race encourages athletes to run united in support of PinkDrive because they are #StrongerTogether.\u00a0 For the first time since the event\u2019s inception in 2001, South Africa\u2019s largest Women\u2019s Day Celebration will be hosted on one day across three major cities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
