The streets of Jozi will come alive with excitement on Friday, 09 August 2019 when thousands of women unite at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race in support of PinkDrive, proving that they are #StrongerTogether.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cThe Totalsports Women\u2019s Race Johannesburg route is reasonably fast and flat,\u201d says Agne du Plessis, Stillwater Sports:\u00a0 General Manager Road Running.\u00a0 \u201cBoth the 5km and 10km races will start and finish at the same place.\u00a0 Enjoy the route, take in the vibe and be sure to look out for Joburg\u2019s iconic landmarks which will include the Oriental Plaza, the Constitutional Court of South Africa, the Johannesburg Theatre and the Nelson Mandela Bridge to mention just a few.\u00a0 Runners and walkers will be treated to a memorable Women\u2019s Day celebration in the city that they love.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For the first time since the events inception in 2001, South Africa\u2019s largest Women\u2019s Day Celebration, the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race will be hosted on one day (Friday, 09 August 2019 \/ National Women\u2019s Day) across three major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Charity Support:\u00a0 <\/strong>The Totalsports Women\u2019s Race proudly supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering free services to the medically uninsured across South Africa. PinkDrive will be present at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race (Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town) offering FREE clinical breast examinations and educating on the importance of self- breast examinations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
