Taking place on National Women\u2019s Day (Friday, 09 August 2019) in support of PinkDrive, the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race Durban will boast a fast flat route.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Totalsports Women\u2019s Race Durban route never disappoints,\u201d says Agne du Plessis, Stillwater Sports:\u00a0 General Manager Road Running.\u00a0 \u201cIn addition to being fast and flat, the route is scenic and incorporates a number of Durban\u2019s iconic landmarks including the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban Promenade, Umgeni Estuary and Kings Park Athletics Stadium.\u00a0 The beautiful ocean view and fresh sea air combined with a fast run or brisk jog is sure to dissipate all signs of tension.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether the goal is to run a personal best or just have fun, the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race Durban is sure to deliver,\u201d continues du Plessis.\u00a0 \u201cRunners will be seen running united in support of PinkDrive proving that we are #StrongerTogether.\u00a0 We look forward to welcoming all entrants, supporters and spectators to the 2019 Totalsports Women\u2019s Race.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the first time since the events inception in 2001, South Africa\u2019s largest Women\u2019s Day Celebration, the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race will be hosted on one day (Friday, 09 August 2019 \/ National Women\u2019s Day) across three major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban).<\/p>\n

Charity Support<\/u>:\u00a0 <\/strong>The Totalsports Women\u2019s Race proudly supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering free services to the medically uninsured across South Africa. PinkDrive will be present at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race (Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town) offering FREE clinical breast examinations and educating on the importance of self- breast examinations.<\/p>\n
