A proud charity of the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN since the event\u2019s inception in 2015, Die Burger <\/strong>Kinderfonds <\/strong>received a welcome donation of R9\u00a0045 in 2018 thanks to runner support.<\/p>\n

Started in 1957, Die Burger Kinderfonds<\/strong> is a non-profit organisation that aims to assist with the educational needs of less fortunate children and\u00a0developing the youth\u2019s leadership skills.<\/p>\n

\u201cYouth development lies close to our hearts, so it is with great pride that we continue to support the fantastic role that Die Burger Kinderfonds fulfils.\u00a0 We are thankful to each and every runner that chose to support this deserving organisation.\u00a0 It is through your support that the donation could be made.\u00a0 We look forward to growing the support in 2019,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cDie Burger <\/strong>Kinderfonds supports organisations and communities where children are less fortunate,\u201d continues Potgieter.\u00a0 \u201cThese organisations include ACVV (Afrikaanse Christelike Vroue Vereniginig), Badisa and the Western Cape Educational Department to mention just a few.\u00a0 We are proud to be a charity of the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN.\u00a0 The donation received in 2018 helped us to reach our targets and make a difference in the lives of so many children.\u00a0 We are extremely thankful for the support and look forward to a spectacular race in 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
