Junior track & field stars will get to follow in the footsteps of the World\u2019s Fastest Man Usain Bolt at the PUMA School of Speed #2 <\/strong>at the Ruimsig Stadium this coming weekend (Saturday, 02 February 2019).<\/p>\n

Launched in November 2016, the series is committed to the development of athletics talent in South Africa by discovering the fastest young Speedsters.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PUMA School of Speed is a highlight on the South African track & field calendar,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cSouth Africa boasts with exceptionally strong talent especially in the track & field arena.\u00a0 We are proud to team up with PUMA as we strive to discover and nurture this talent.\u00a0 From the five meets a selection of athletes will be scouted to join the PUMA team.\u00a0 In so doing, the PUMA School of Speed will continue to pave the way for the Speedsters of the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe energy experienced at the PUMA School of Speed meets is unsurpassed,\u201d said PUMA Marketing Director Brett Bellinger.\u00a0 \u201cThe 2019 Series kicked off at the Coetzenburg Athletics Stadium (Stellenbosch) on Saturday (26 January) with the PUMA School of Speed #1.\u00a0 The atmosphere was electric, with each event overflowing with talent.\u00a0 It was the perfect start to the series.\u00a0 We can\u2019t wait to see what the PUMA School of Speed #2 delivers this coming weekend.\u00a0 We are excited to continue growing the exhilarating sport of track & field and look forward to growing our PUMA ambassador programme in 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Headed by the World\u2019s Fastest Man Usain Bolt, the PUMA School of Speed Series was launched in 2016 with the goal of identifying exceptional young South African athletes who believe that their future is #ForeverFaster.\u00a0 Junior track & field stars between the ages of 14-19 can follow in the footsteps of Usain Bolt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
