Entries are officially open for the 2019 IMPI Challenge that will take place at Coetzenburg (Stellenbosch \/Western Cape) on Saturday, 06 April 2019, Virginia Trails (KZN) on Sunday, 16 June 2019, Van Gaalen Kaasmakerij\u00a0(North West Province) on Saturday, 26 October 2019 and Wiesenhof Wildlife Park (Stellenbosch \/ Western Cape) on Saturday, 23 November 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe IMPI Challenge had a magnificent 2018 season.\u00a0 Entrants were challenged, victories were enjoyed and friendships were made,\u201d says Pieter du Plessis, IMPI Challenge Race Director.\u00a0 \u201cWe look forward to building on the energy in 2019.\u00a0 Without letting the cat out of the bag, IMPI Warriors can look forward to spectacular trail running combined with adrenaline pumping obstacles that will require crawling, swinging, climbing, jumping \u2013 just about everything fun.\u00a0 It\u2019s not the IMPI Challenge if you\u2019re not challenged at some point.\u00a0 We invite all adventure seekers to step outside of their comfort zones and take on the IMPI Challenge.\u00a0 This event is perfect for families, friends and even corporates.\u201d<\/p>\n

IMPI Warrior, Armin Botha (Potchefstroom) made his IMPI Challenge debut at the IMPI Challenge #1 (Cape Town) in April 2018.\u00a0 \u201cI knew that I\u2019d be going up against the top okes, and was just hoping to podium. The obstacles were hard especially the brick carry, while the scenery was beautiful.\u00a0 I was blessed with the win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nadine Cahill also claimed gold on her first attempt at the IMPI Challenge #2 (KZN) in June 2018.\u00a0 \u201cI definitely plan to take part in more IMPI races.\u00a0 The trails were amazing – hilly but beautiful.\u00a0 The obstacles are challenging.\u00a0 My team mates warned me beforehand that the IMPI Challenge is renowned for its heavy carries.\u00a0\u00a0 These were tough, but enjoyable.\u201d<\/p>\n
