Celebrating its 6th<\/sup> anniversary on Saturday, 24 and Sunday, 25 November 2018, South Africa\u2019s premier 2-day MTB Experience, the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience will boast an exciting Big Box Junction as part of the 2018 route experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cA valued partner of many Stillwater Sports events, Big Box Containers are versatile, functional and add to the experience of each event,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cA prime example is our Rialto Coffee Shop, which is essentially a Big Box Container that has been equipped and converted into a fully functioning coffee shop.\u00a0 This year, however, we are excited to go one step further by incorporating two Big Box Containers into the route experience.\u00a0 Stationed in the festival village riders will make their way through and\/or over the Big Box Junction just before they cross the finish line.\u00a0 This is sure to be a treat both for riders and spectators alike.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Origin Of Trails is iconic in that it celebrates the start of mountain biking in South Africa,\u201d says Willie Ward, Director Big Box Containers.\u00a0 \u201cBesides for our obvious love of the sport, we are proud to be a partner of the event as it allows us to showcase just how versatile the Big Box Containers are.\u00a0\u00a0 Shipping containers are blank canvasses. They can be converted to meet almost any need because they offer security and versatility. A race village can be created around containers almost overnight. Our container work is commercially viable for the same reason.\u00a0 It is cost effective, flexible and safe.\u00a0 This year we are really excited to also be part of the route experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Massimiliano Mosca, Sales Representative: Rialto Foods, the Big Box Containers work perfectly as a Rialto Coffee Shop at the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience.\u00a0 \u201cThe Big Box Containers are relatively easy to transport, they are functional and offer security while still giving the coffee shop comfort to customers.\u00a0 We look forward to being part of the action of the 6th<\/sup> annual event and cannot wait to experience the best MTB trails on offer in Stellenbosch.\u201d<\/p>\n

WIN with Aramex SA<\/u>: <\/strong>\u00a0Aramex SA, the courier partner of the 2018 event, will give away a prize to the whopping value of R5000.\u00a0 To stand a chance to win, Origin Of Trails MTB Experience long<\/u> and short <\/u>route riders will receive an armband with perforated bike number when they collect their race packs from the Coetzenburg Sports Field (opposite the netball courts) on Friday, 23 November 2018 (between 12:00 \u2013 18:00) and on Saturday, 24 November 2018 (between 05h30 – 06h00).\u00a0 The perforated bike number needs to be placed in the Aramex box that will be stationed somewhere on the Stage One route.\u00a0 Keep a look out!<\/p>\n

FALKE Foot Zone<\/u>:\u00a0 <\/strong>All entrants (runners and mountain bikers) are invited to visit the Falke Foot Zone once they\u2019ve crossed the finish line for a free Falke leg and foot massage.\u00a0 All riders taking on the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience long and short route will receive a pair of Falke socks in their race packs.<\/p>\n

RUNNER’S REST<\/u>:\u00a0 <\/strong>The team from Runner\u2019s Rest will be in action at the 2018 Origin Of Trails MTB Experience and Origin Of Trails Trail Run (Friday to Sunday).\u00a0 Runners Rest is a Specialist Running store that focuses on catering for the individual needs of runners.\u00a0 Services include performing a well-developed analysis routine through which numerous factors are considered including running form, balance characteristics, history of injuries, training terrain and personal distance goals.\u00a0 Runner\u2019s Rest strives to match the correct product to each client\u2019s specific needs.
