Trail Running enthusiasts are invited to join in on the action at South Africa\u2019s premier 2-day MTB Experience, the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience by taking on the Origin Of Trails Trail Run on Sunday, 25 November 2018.<\/p>\n

\u201cStellenbosch is a mountain biker and trail runner\u2019s dream location both for training and racing,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cOff-road athletes are in for a treat as both the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience and Origin Of Trails Trail Run feature the best trails on offer in the beautiful city of oaks.\u00a0 Entrants can look forward to experiencing a vast network of world class trails.\u00a0 Once across the finish line, we\u2019d like to encourage all entrants, families and friends to stick around and enjoy the festival village vibe.\u00a0 We can\u2019t think of a better way to close off a busy year of racing than by spending a day out on the magnificent Stellenbosch trails with family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Origin Of Trails Trail Run boasts two exciting distances:\u00a0 a 12km \u2013 15km Long Route<\/strong> and a 5km Short Route<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Origin Of Trails Trail Run caters for the entire family,\u201d says Pieter du Plessis, Origin Of Trails Race Director.\u00a0 \u201cThe 5km route is ideal for both newcomers to the sport and younger children wanting to run with their parents.\u00a0 Entrants can look forward to experiencing some great single track and spectacular views.\u00a0 The Coetzenburg Trails and Paradyskloof Forest are iconic to Stellenbosch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRunners taking on the longer route can expect more single and jeep track,\u201d continues du Plessis.\u00a0 \u201cThey will also glimpse G-Spot, be treated to amazing mountain views and fynbos.\u00a0 Although you don\u2019t need to be super fit to take on the long route, a fair level of fitness will add to the experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
