The 2018 FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN route will highlight iconic landmarks, boast lively on-route performances by a host of Durban\u2019s leading performing arts groups while featuring high energy vibe points activated by event sponsors:\u00a0 FNB, PUMA, East Coast Radio, DHL, Totalsports, Coca-Cola, Spur, Mango, Budget, Thule, Big Box Containers, Rialto, Flying Fish and Toys \u2018R Us.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN is putting the last piece in the puzzle of the FNB Run Your City Series for 2018. \u201cWe are looking for excitement and camaraderie, but most importantly we are looking for #FastTimes,\u201d says Brett Bellinger, Marketing Director of PUMA South Africa.\u00a0 \u201cThe #ForeverFaster PUMA \u2018Beat Bolt\u2019 Sprint <\/strong>will be stationed in the region of the 7 \u2013 9km mark (in Hunter Street).\u00a0 Remember to reserve some energy as the \u2018Beat Bolt\u2019 Sprint <\/strong>requires speed.\u00a0 Be prepared to give your all over a 100m sprint.\u00a0 This section of the route will once again be timed.\u00a0 The runner (male and female) to clock the fastest time over\u00a0 the 100m will be rewarded with a PUMA shopping voucher to the value of R10\u00a0000.\u201d<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s leading international express services provider, DHL Express <\/strong>has joined the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN as the event\u2019s official logistics partner in 2018.<\/p>\n

EXCITING NEWS<\/u>:\u00a0 <\/strong>Wilson Kipketer, former 800m world record holder, will participate in the 2018 FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN on Sunday, 14 October 2018.\u00a0 Kipketer who is employed by race sponsor, PUMA and won gold at three successive World Championships, has been brought to SA to inspire runners to bring their best to the event.<\/p>\n

You can join Wilson Kipketer for a 5km warm up run on Friday, 12 October\u00a0 starting at 5pm from Race Pack Collection\u00a0or meet him at a signing session at Race Pack Collection on Saturday, 13 October. After running the race on Sunday he will also be handing over the PUMA Beat Bolt cheque at prize giving.<\/p>\n
