The Short Route <\/strong>of the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience <\/strong>with kick off at Coetzenburg Sports Fields (Stellenbosch) on Saturday, 24 November 2018 with a +-30km Stage One that boasts a 550m vertical ascent.<\/p>\n

An individual 2-day MTB Experience, the Origin Of Trails routes highlight the beauty and splendor of the City Of Oaks.\u00a0 Mountain bikers can look forward to the \u201conce a year opportunity\u201d to experience a vast network of exclusive world class trails.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of our main goals in 2018 was to make the Short Route less challenging and more enjoyable,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cWe are happy to announce that this year the Origin Of Trails Short Route <\/strong>will feature less climbs with improved flow.\u00a0 As a result this route will be faster.\u00a0 With an emphasis on having fun, you do not need to be super fit to enjoy this event, but a fair level of fitness will ensure that you get the most out of your experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Corrie Muller, Origin Of Trails Route Designer, the terrain will consist mainly out of well-groomed jeep track and easy single track.\u00a0 \u201cRiders will be overwhelmed by the beauty of Jonkershoek and the Eerste River experience, which is well off of the beaten track.\u00a0 Although it\u2019s not as strenuous as the Long Route, I advise riders to be well equipped for the November heat and any technical challenges that might come your way.\u201d<\/p>\n
