Celebrating its 6th<\/sup> anniversary in November, the organizers of South Africa\u2019s Premier 2-day MTB Experience, the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience are excited to introduce a 10km Fun Ride to the 2018 celebration!<\/p>\n

\u201cSince its inception in 2013 the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience has been heralded as the MTB party of the year,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cBy introducing a 10km Fun Ride we are able to invite junior MTB enthusiasts to the party.\u00a0 The Fun Ride is open to ages 8 and up and will take place on Saturday, 24 November.\u00a0 The excitement continues with the introduction of a Turbo E-bike category in association with <\/strong>Specialized Bicycles Africa.\u00a0 We are also inviting trail runners to join in on the fun by introducing a 5km and 12-15km Origin Of Trails Trail Run on the Sunday.\u00a0 We invite all sporting enthusiasts to close off the year with a spectacular Origin Of Trails Experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Corrie Muller, Origin Of Trails Route Designer, the Origin Of Trails 10km Fun Ride features a 150m ascent.\u00a0 \u201cThis route is ideal for beginners and up-and-coming MTB fanatics,\u201d says Muller.\u00a0 \u201cThe terrain will mainly feature open and groomed gravel roads, easy flat single track that is shaded by trees on the edge of the Eerste River.\u00a0 Iconic sections to look out for will include Coetzenburg`s XCO Track and magnificent views of Stellenbosch and its mountains.\u00a0 True to Origin Of Trails style there will be a climb in the beginning, but it\u2019s nothing to worry about.\u00a0 Enjoy the beautiful view and downhill thereafter.\u201d<\/p>\n
