Coast SPCA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to be able to support three pivotal Durban based charities,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.\u00a0 \u201cRFAD believes in the power of dreams, encouraging children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses.\u00a0 The Durban &amp; Coast SPCA fulfils a valuable role in the lives of thousands of Durban\u2019s animals, while by supporting TREE we are able to change the lives of many of Durban\u2019s children.\u00a0 In 2017 runners showed their support by donating a combined total of R18\u00a0010 to these three charities: RFAD \/ R7525, Durban &amp; Coast SPCA \/ R6640 and TREE \/ R3845.\u00a0 The donations will go a long way in ensuring the continuation of the selfless work of each charity.\u00a0\u00a0 We look forward to building on this support in 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Established in 1988, <strong>RFAD<\/strong> <\/em><em>looks to inspire hope and help children to believe in the power of dreams.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to continue our partnership with the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN in 2018,\u201d says Kerry Donkin, RFAD KZN Manager.\u00a0 \u201cWe had a lot of fun last year and were able to raise awareness and valuable funds to help inspire hope through the power of dreams.\u00a0 We would like to thank the event and the people of Durban who supported and donated towards our charity.\u00a0 This year we aim to continue creating awareness and raise more funds to reach more children.\u00a0 We will be at race pack collection where we look forward to meeting all the 2018 entrants.\u00a0 Our team will also be on the start line.\u00a0 We are encouraging our volunteers, sponsors, families and friends to do the same.\u00a0 We invite all Durbanites to be a part of the magic and become a dream maker.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For more information or to support RFAD email <a href=\"mailto:kerry@reachforadream.org.za\"><strong>kerry@reachforadream.org.za<\/strong><\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The <strong>Durban &amp; Coast SPCA<\/strong> rescues abused and neglected domestic, farm and wild animals, while promoting responsible pet ownership, providing a shelter for strays, and a veterinary service for pets of underprivileged people.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to Tanya Fleischer, Durban &amp; Coast SPCA Marketing Manager, the inaugural FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN was a fantastic experience.\u00a0 \u201cWe are excited and honoured to once again be part of this event,\u201d says Fleischer.\u00a0 \u201cThe donation received was put towards general running costs of the SPCA which includes the feeding of the animals in our kennels and cattery, making sure every animal has a blanket and bed, care of these animals and maintenance of the kennels and cattery.\u00a0 This year we will be back at race pack collection where we will have a very exciting spin and win wheel.\u00a0 \u00a0On event day ten members of Team SPCA will complete the 10km run as an additional fund raising initiative.\u00a0 We would like to invite runners to become committed volunteers and help us raise much needed funds.\u201d<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information or to support <strong>Durban &amp;
