South African rapper and poet, Sho Madjozi will entertain thousands of runners and walkers at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race at Mary Fitzgerald Square (Newtown) on Thursday, 09 August 2018 (National Women\u2019s Day).<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the freedom that I feel while performing that attracts me to this profession,\u201d admits Madjozi.\u00a0 \u201cMy job is to be creative and to make people happy.\u00a0 I have managed to incorporate\u00a0the music that I enjoy and which used to be hard to hear at festivals and parties.\u00a0 This is the music that I longed to hear and now it is being played on radio (and at parties) because I made it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am hoping to give runners a good show at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race,\u201d continues Madjozi.\u00a0 \u201cOur performance is always energetic.\u00a0 The Totalsports Women\u2019s Race feels like the perfect place for us to perform.\u00a0 I love that the event supports PinkDrive. It\u2019s such a great initiative and I am proud to be contributing my talent to this day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The streets of Johannesburg will be painted pink on National Women\u2019s Day (Thursday, 09 August 2018) when thousands of women #RunUnited in support of PinkDrive.<\/p>\n
