The 2018 XTERRA Season will open with a bang on Friday, 23 February 2018 when excited junior XTERRA Warriors gather at the water\u2019s edge of the picturesque Eikenhof Dam ready to partake in the action-packed Fedhealth XTERRA Kids Race in Grabouw.<\/p>\n

The ideal introduction to the sport of XTERRA, the Fedhealth XTERRA Kids Race is hosted at a beautiful venue that encourages family support.<\/p>\n

Jadon Hunter (6-8 years) really enjoyed the XTERRA Kids Race in 2017.\u00a0 \u201cI enjoyed the bike leg the most,\u201d says Hunter.\u00a0 \u201cI like riding my bike.\u00a0 I entered the XTERRA because it\u2019s fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Angeliq Coetzer (9-11 years) the 2017 XTERRA Kids Race was awesome.\u00a0 \u201cI enjoyed all three disciplines:\u00a0 the swim, the mountain bike and the trail run.\u00a0 I entered because taking part would be an achievement for me and I got a medal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christiaan Franken (12-15 years) made his XTERRA debut in 2017.\u00a0 \u201cI really enjoyed today.\u00a0 The mountain bike discipline was my favourite.\u00a0 I\u2019ll definitely be back in 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n
