A farm attack took place at the Afrisun holiday resort on 26 March 2021, at 01:00, in Barnardsvlei, Mooinooi, Brits in the North West province of South Africa. Four armed attackers overpowered the owner when he went outside to turn on the generator to charge batteries.

The man does this every night at the same time and people are warned to regularly change their routine as they become soft targets. The man was forced into the home by the attackers who then disarmed the man’s wife.

The man and two women were assaulted and tied up.

The home was ransacked and a number of items stolen including 3 firearms and a white Toyota Prado vehicle. There were no serious injuries.

People are again warned not to go outside at night, if it is a necessity make sure that you are armed and have backup and other safety structures in place.

There is no other information available at this stage. There have been no arrests.
