A brutal murder on Friday, January 13 at the farm of Hannes and Ester Kidson, situated on the farm Jachtfontein, Vanderbijlpark area in Fochville, Gauteng.
A dairy farmer Hannes and his wife Ester who was in a wheelchair both had their throats slit in a horrendous farm murder.
Several attackers overpowered the farmer Hannes while he was busy checking bales in the store. The attackers slit his throat.
Ester the farmer’s wife was in a wheelchair after undergoing a hip operation and was murdered in the bedroom of the farmhouse.
A farm worker raised the alarm and a neighbor, Sarel Cilliers received a call for help around 15H00 and when he arrived at the farm, the couple were already dead.
According to Cilliers, there is a possibility that a farm worker was involved in the murder, and the search for the assailants continues. Cilliers also said that the house was a mess and could not understand why the Kidson couple were murdered as they were kind and generous people.
The Police are investigating the incident.
