A brutal farm attack took place on 9 November 2019, in Muldersdrift, Gauteng province. An elderly female victim woke up and noticed hands reaching through the window, she was shot twice. The attackers then entered her home and shot her a third time. Through the ordeal the woman still managed to activate her panic alarm.
The attackers stole a cell phone and fled the scene. The woman is in a Johannesburg hospital in a stable condition, police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
