At about 23:00 Drift Reaction received an alarm signal from premises in Honingklip, Muldersdrift.
Tactical units responded and on arrival they saw one suspect running away towards the bushy mountain.
They gave chase but he disappeared into the dark. On investigation they found that a door was forced and the sods made off with an empty cash register.
