Four people were left injured this afternoon following a collision between a taxi and light motor vehicle at the Beyers Naude and Malope Road intersection in Randpark Ridge.
\nER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the light motor vehicle in the centre median while the taxi was found in the right-hand lane of the road.
\nUpon closer inspection, paramedics found that three people had sustained moderate injuries while a fourth had sustained more serious injuries.
\nParamedics treated the patients and provided the seriously injured man, believed to be in his 50s, with pain-relief medication.
\nOnce treated, the patients were transported to a nearby hospitals for further treatment.
\nThe details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.<\/p>\n
