{"id":9136,"date":"2018-04-26T15:30:08","date_gmt":"2018-04-26T13:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/media\/accidents\/transport-minister-welcomes-passing-of-the-national-land-transport-act-amendment-bill-by-the-national-assembly\/"},"modified":"2018-04-26T15:30:10","modified_gmt":"2018-04-26T13:30:10","slug":"transport-minister-welcomes-passing-of-the-national-land-transport-act-amendment-bill-by-the-national-assembly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/media\/accidents\/transport-minister-welcomes-passing-of-the-national-land-transport-act-amendment-bill-by-the-national-assembly\/","title":{"rendered":"Transport Minister welcomes passing of the National Land Transport Act amendment Bill by the National Assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Transport, Dr Blade Nzimande, welcomes the passing of the&nbsp;National Land Transport Amendment Bill by the National Assembly yesterday, 24&nbsp;April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The Bill follows protracted public participatory processes that commenced in&nbsp;2016, when the department of transport introduced the initial amendments to the&nbsp;National Land Transport Act of 2009.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The amendments to the Act will ensure that we bring the South Africa transport&nbsp;trajectory in line with international best practice and the Fourth Industrial&nbsp;Revolution.
