{"id":8211,"date":"2018-02-21T17:30:11","date_gmt":"2018-02-21T15:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/media\/accidents\/a-taxi-rollover-leaves-nine-injured-and-one-critically-on-the-hillshaven-road-westonaria\/"},"modified":"2018-02-21T17:30:15","modified_gmt":"2018-02-21T15:30:15","slug":"a-taxi-rollover-leaves-nine-injured-and-one-critically-on-the-hillshaven-road-westonaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/media\/accidents\/a-taxi-rollover-leaves-nine-injured-and-one-critically-on-the-hillshaven-road-westonaria\/","title":{"rendered":"A Taxi rollover leaves nine injured and one critically on the Hillshaven Road, Westonaria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>Nine people were left injured this afternoon, one of them critically when a taxi rolled on the Hillshaven Road in Hillshaven in Westonaria.<\/p>\n<p>ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi lying upright on the side of the road, Several people were found lying around the light motor vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>It is understood that members had found that taxi lying on its side, and had pushed it upright and pushed it to the side of the road.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics assessed the patients and found that eight had sustained minor to moderate injuries while one woman had sustained numerous injuries, leaving her in a critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics treated the patients and provided the critically injured woman with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the critically injured woman was airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan Medical helicopter to Lenmed Randfontein for urgent treatment.
