The four other vehicles were found on the side of the road.<br \/>\nUpon closer inspection, paramedics found that the occupants had already climbed out of their vehicles and were found walking around on the scene.<br \/>\nParamedics assessed the patients and found that three had sustained serious injuries while ten others had sustained minor to moderate injuries.<br \/>\nParamedics treated the patients and provided the three seriously injured with advanced life support interventions.
