The bakkie was found lying on its side on the side of the road.<br \/>\nUpon closer inspection, paramedics the body of a man, believed to be the taxi driver, lying a few metres away from his vehicle. Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his injuries. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.<br \/>\nApproximately fifteen other patients were found on the scene. Two were found in a critical condition while the remaining patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries.<br \/>\nParamedics treated the patients and provided the two critically injured with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, one critically injured patients were airlifted to Lenmed Randfontein by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter.
