{"id":57863,"date":"2026-11-05T07:15:03","date_gmt":"2026-11-05T05:15:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/media\/accidents\/two-injured-in-motor-vehicle-collision-on-the-m27-waterloo-kzn\/"},"modified":"2026-11-05T07:15:03","modified_gmt":"2026-11-05T05:15:03","slug":"two-injured-in-motor-vehicle-collision-on-the-m27-waterloo-kzn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricatoday.net\/media\/accidents\/two-injured-in-motor-vehicle-collision-on-the-m27-waterloo-kzn\/","title":{"rendered":"Two injured in motor vehicle collision on the M27: Waterloo \u2013 KZN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two people sustained minor injuries following a collision involving two vehicles on the M27 towards BP Waterloo in KZN at approximately 19:52 this evening.<\/p>\n<p>Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Paramedics &amp; Reaction Officers were dispatched to the scene after the Operations Center received a report of the accident.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found a silver Toyota Etios and a silver Hyundai Accent involved in the collision.<\/p>\n<p>According to the 30-year-old male driver of the Toyota Etios, who was operating as an Uber driver, he was travelling along the M27 towards BP Waterloo &#8211; KZN with a male passenger when the Hyundai Accent collided with the rear-right side of his vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Following the impact, the Hyundai Accent allegedly lost control, veered off the roadway and entered the bushes before coming to a stop against a tree.<\/p>\n<p>The Hyundai Accent was occupied by a male and female.
