Just after 11am, Mi7 Emergency Medical Services received reports of a motor vehicle accident and dispatched paramedics to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>On arrival, Mi7 medics found the pedestrian had sustained fatal injuries. He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>It is alleged that the taxi involved then attempted to leave the area and was involved in a second collision a short distance away.<\/p>\n<p>The taxi driver was not injured and remained on scene with the police.
