A capital budget of R23 million was allocated to the Department, enabling the procurement of a wide range of vehicles and specialised equipment to improve service delivery, operational reliability, and employee safety across the Breede Valley Municipal area. Building on the fleet acquisitions made during the previous financial year, the Department achieved one of its most ambitious fleet renewal programmes to date.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the investment, the Municipality procured three Tractor Loader Backhoes (TLBs) at a cost of R2 664 563,67, which were strategically deployed to Worcester, De Doorns and Touwsrivier to strengthen infrastructure maintenance and service delivery operations.
