This afternoon, our medical team responded to the N2 at the R34 junction near Empangeni. A bakkie, transporting passengers and wedding gifts from Bhukhanana to Mandlazini, lost control and overturned multiple times. Advanced Paramedics assessed 11 adult patients on the scene. Three individuals sustained serious injuries, including spinal trauma and fractures, while eight others suffered minor injuries. One lane of the N2 was closed for approximately one hour to allow for stabilization and transport.<\/p>\n
