Thank you also to the Mountain Club for standing by and assisting with the rescue effort, including sending the rescue helicopter.<\/p>\n<p>This outcome was only possible because of the courage, dedication and teamwork of everyone involved. To every staff member, volunteer and partner who played a part, thank you for putting his safety, and each other&#039;s, first.<\/p>\n<p>A gentle reminder to all hikers: please complete the hiking register before setting out. It remains one of the most important tools we have in keeping you safe.
