The information was then broadcasted over the DFW radio system for all DFW volunteer responders to hear ( and react), while simultaneously Paarl Fire Brigade was called and send the same info to respond.<\/p>\n<p>Time is of the essence in case of any fire.<\/p>\n<p>Sean king and Kade Loubser were literally a short distance away and quickly on site, used a garden hose offered by a friendly neighbour to first cool the hood and then dose the fire on the engine.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes later further assistance arrived from Paarl fire with a cruiser, followed by a pumper truck.<\/p>\n<p>The cooperation went very smoothly and the joint efforts were widely appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Fire is a time related event and we all need to play a role to mitigate&#8230;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arrivealive.co.za\/news.aspx?s=1&#038;i=77871&#038;page=vehicle-fire-on-main-street-paarl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read more on Arrive Alive <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The very fast response by DFW Fire responder Sean King towards a vehicle alight, moments after he reveived detailed information by the DFW controlroom, suppressed the flames and likely prevented further drama.
