The RTMC proudly welcomes learners from across the country who arrived yesterday, 7 October 2025, for the National Participatory Educational Techniques (PET) and Debates Competition, taking place from 7 – 10 October 2025, in Gauteng. <\/p>\n

A warm and vibrant welcoming ceremony was held last night, where learners showcased their talents on stage through music, poetry, and drama, setting the tone for an exciting and inspiring week ahead.<\/p>\n

This annual competition forms part of the RTMC’s youth engagement and road safety awareness initiatives, targeting Grade 10 and 11 learners from all nine provinces.<\/p>\n

Debate Competition:<\/p>\n

Learners go head-to-head on critical road safety topics, sharpening their research, public speaking, and teamwork skills while promoting a culture of safety on our roads.<\/p>\n

PET Competition:<\/p>\n

Teams identify road safety challenges in their communities and present creative, experiential solutions through drama, poetry, music, and storytelling.<\/p>\n
