The Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI) is advising consumers to be cautious when choosing a workshop or repairer, as there have been cases of businesses misrepresenting themselves as RMI members.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent case highlighted on national television, a business in Krugersdorp falsely claimed to be accredited by the RMI. Concerned clients, worried about the potential impact on their warranties or insurance claims, received verbal confirmation that the business was a member.
