A man, believed to be in his 20s, whist working on a ship in Cape Town Harbour.<\/p>\n
ER24 paramedics, along with Community Medics, arrived on the scene at 13h24 and were led into the hold where they found the patient.<\/p>\n
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained a serious head injury and showed no signs of life.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.<\/p>\n
It is understood that that a metal object had fallen from a height, striking the man on the head.<\/p>\n
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.<\/p>\n
