Gauteng: At 09H12 Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N1 South bound under the Bowling Bridge in Sandton.<\/p>\n
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles and a heavy motor vehicle were involved in a collision.<\/p>\n
An occupant of one of the light motor vehicles was trapped in the wreckage and Fire and Rescue Services as well as the Netcare 911 Rescue Technician used the “Jaws of Life” to free the patient.<\/p>\n
One person was transported in a serious condition and four other patients were transported in a stable condition to hospital by various ambulance services for further treatment.<\/p>\n
All necessary authorities were on scene.<\/p>\n
