A child, believed to be two years old, sustained serious injuries during a collision in Diepsloot this afternoon. <\/p>\n
At approximately 1.30pm, ER24\u2019s Oneplan Medical Helicopter was called to Diepsloot Fire Station to airlift the little girl. It is understood that she was involved in a collision while travelling with a family member. She was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Paramedics from ER24 and City of Johannesburg EMS attended to the little girl on the scene and transported her to the fire station where the helicopter could land.<\/p>\n
She sustained several fractures and various other injuries. Once stabilised, she was airlifted to Busamed Modderfontein for further medical care.<\/p>\n
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known.<\/p>\n
