The Reaction Unit South Africa Tongaat Operations Centre received multiple calls from the passing motorists reporting the collision. RUSA Members were dispacthed to the scene and upon arrival found a Toyota Quantum and a Mahindra SUV lying on its side. It was established that the fully loaded taxi was travelling in the direction of Tongaat when it collided into the side of the Mahindra SUV that was turning onto the south bound lane of the N2 from Watson Highway.
