SABC, will not show what is really happening in South Africa, as the media blackout continues.
The students closed down the univerty as they protested over a list of demands. Among the demands, the students requested that the learners who have not paid fees be allowed to continue to study without demands for payment of fees. Another request the students are demanding is that the university staff be paid more for their services.
The protest was supposed to be a peaceful one but the students blocked roads and burnt tyres.
